HOWDY, COMMENT IN REGARDS TO STORING WHOLE GRAIN. THE PURPOSE FOR STORING WHOLE GRAIN IS TWO-FOLD. IT CAN BE SPROUTED, WHICH IS A PAIN SO FAR AS STEPS BETWEEN STORAGE AND EATING BUT THE NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF SPROUTS IS GREATER THAN THAT OF SEED BY ABOUT 15:1. THE SECOND REASON FOR STORING GRAIN IS THAT IT CAN SEED AN AREA FOR LATER HARVEST. STILL A PAIN BUT LONG TERM SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON AG. BEST WISHES, ARVIN
I have been a Prepper for many a year. Im now 56 years young. I started with backpacking at a very young age. Now im retired,on disablity. But I bought some land in south Georgia,and place a large cement slab. Then put in a chainlink fence with barb wire and razor ribbon. I put up three small sheds,one for the cows and one for the chickens. I will not run out of milk and eggs. Now i have a metal building,which half is used for living and the other is used for storage. But i believe that i am ready for the SHTF. I even have two water wells on the site. And threee fuel tanks on the lot
Eric, this is Berlin Bob; I have responded in the past to a few of your videos. One of the questions brought up, was to bug in or bug out? I live in Riverside, Ca., and with my family situation, I have to stay put. But, the seed of thought is germinating. If I were to bug out with the mass of humanity here in Southern California, where would I go and where would I store my supplies. Where to go, I was thinking about the lilt up warehouses and manufacturing buildings that abound this area of Southern California, if the shtf is that bad, then these buildings could be abandoned. Storage is another problem, I was thinking about these outside storage units. Getting a small one in few areas where it would fairly easy access, but inside the complex, away from prying eyes. Or getting these storage units along the route to your bug out area.. I believe burying a cache(s) is not all that practical in this area. Or getting these storage units close to where I’ll be bugging in. Food for thought, you might run with it and expand the idea or say that I’m full of it. I just can’t see bugging out with 15 million people on the move
