When it comes to preparedness efforts, we all have to make constant decisions about how to allocate our scarce resources (time, money, etc). If you don’t have a specific guiding strategy or mission statement much of your efforts will be arbitrary and might not be as effective as you would like.

TO be able to adequately reach your preparedness goals, you have to articulate what those goals are, and the intent behind them.
